In this interview,Professor Scott Slovic,one of the most prominent contemporary ecocritics in America,clarifies the new trend of ecocriticism and environmental humanities in the 21st century by focusing on the Anthropocene,Cli-fi studies.In the meantime,the interview discusses the empirical ecocriticism and sheds light on the function of pandemic literature for the development of ecocriticism in the context of COVID-19.Professor Scott's views are significant in helping readers know better of the current leading edge of ecocriticism.
