高等外语教育高质量发展与学科专业体系建设

Improving the system of discipline and specialties towards high-quality development for higher foreign language education

高质量发展是全面建设社会主义现代化国家的首要任务。贯彻党的二十大精神,落实到高等外语教育就是以高质量为导向,全面提升外语学科的学科体系、学术体系、知识体系和人才培养体系的建设水平。高水平学术产出和高素质专业人才培养是高质量学科建设的显著标志。要取得高水平学术成果,培养中国式现代化建设所需的高素质外语专业人才,做出外语学科不可替代的贡献,须加强学科体系和专业体系建设。建立完善的学科体系和专业体系,应从学理上辨析把准学科和专业的内涵,厘清学科和专业的关系,以增强学科意识,坚守学科性质,坚定学科理念,深化学科内涵建设,为外语学科专业的长足发展奠定坚实基础。

High-quality development is the top priority of building a modern socialist country in an all-round way. To implement the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress and to put it into practice in higher foreign language education, we should take high-quality development as the guide and systematically enhance disciplinary construction, research performance, knowledge development and talent cultivation in foreign languages. High-level academic output and high-quality professional talents are distinct signs of high-quality development of foreign languages as a discipline. In order to make irreplaceable contributions to achieving high-level academic output and cultivating high-quality professionals needed for Chinese modernization, it is necessary to reinforce the system of foreign language discipline and specialties. In establishing a sophisticated system of foreign language discipline and specialties, we need discern the connotations of discipline and specialty from a theoretical point of view, and clarify the relationship between them, so as to heighten disciplinary awareness, adhere to the nature of discipline, strengthen the concept of discipline, enrich the connotation of discipline, and lay a solid foundation for the long-term development of foreign language discipline and specialties.
