纤维材料是纤维状物质通过纺织加工工艺形成的结构化材料,通常也被称为纺织材料。作为一种起源西方古老的壁毯艺术,纤维艺术是以纤维材料为主要媒介而开展的创作设计,在发展过程中不仅融合了各地区、各民族优秀的传统纺织文化,同时也吸纳了现代的艺术观念、纺织科技的最新成果。为进一步推动当代纤维艺术创作,阐述了纤维艺术的基本概念及其特点,并探究了纤维艺术的材料语言应用与创意表现。

Fiber material which is also known as textile material is a structured material formed by fibrous materials through textile processing technology,which is also known as textile material.As an ancient tapestry art originated in the West,fiber art is a creative design based on fiber materials.In the process of development,it not only integrates the excellent traditional textile culture of various regions and nationalities,but also absorbs the latest achievements of modern art concepts and textile science and technology.In order to further promote the creation of contemporary fiber art,this paper expounds the basic concepts and characteristics of fiber art,and explores the material language application and creative expression of fiber art.
