论白先勇小说中的“异类”

“异类”是白先勇小说中一类重要的人物形象。在《台北人》《纽约客》《孽子》三部作品中,白先勇分别从政治、文化、道德角度出发,塑造了流离中国台北的内地人、挣扎在文化认同危机漩涡中的海外华人,以及受到社会家庭双重抛弃的同性恋者三类“异类”形象。“异类”形象的诞生既与作家个人经历有关,也与特定的历史文化背景有关。但作者所呼吁的以“超越时代的永恒人性”来解决“异类”问题因脱离特定时空背景而难以实现。

"Alien"is an important character image in Bai Xianyong s novels.In the three works of Taipei man,New Yorker and Evil Son,Bai Xianyong has created three kinds of"alien"images from the perspectives of politics,culture and morality,namely,mainland tourists displaced from Taipei,overseas Chinese struggling in the vortex of cultural identity crisis,and homosexuals abandoned by society and family.The birth of"alien"image is not only related to the writer s personal experience,but also related to the historical and cultural background of the characteristics.However,the author s call for"eternal humanity beyond the times"to solve the"heterogeneous"problem is difficult to achieve because it is divorced from the specific time and space background.
