流通数字化能够缩小城乡收入差距吗--基于30个省份面板数据实证研究

Can Circulation Digitalization Narrow the Income Gap Between Urban and Rural Areas:An Empirical Research Based on Panel Data of 30 Provinces and Municipalities

以数字化赋能流通业转型发展,在逐步缩小城乡收入差距中发挥着重要作用。在理论分析的基础上,选取2013—2020年30个省份的面板数据,实证研究了流通数字化对城乡收入差距的影响。研究发现:流通数字化发展能够显著缩小城乡收入差距;流通数字化对东部地区城乡收入差距的缩小作用要强于中西部地区,且流通数字化水平高的地区其对城乡收入差距的缩小作用要显著高于水平低的地区;流通数字化能通过促进农业生产、推动城镇化显著缩小城乡收入差距,农村基础设施建设能有效增强流通数字化对城乡收入差距扩大的抑制作用。因此,要大力发展流通业数字化转型,加强中西部地区流通数字化发展建设,助力农业生产和城镇化进程,重视农村基础设施建设。

Empowering the transformation and development of the circulation industry with digitalization plays a vital role in gradually narrowing the urban-rural income gap.Based on theoretical analysis,we selected the panel data of 30 provinces from 2013 to 2020 to empirically study the impact of circulation digitization on the urban-rural income gap.The research finds that circulation digitization can significantly reduce the urban-rural income gap.Secondly,the role of circulation digitization in reducing the income gap between urban and rural areas in the eastern region is stronger than in the western region.And regions with a high level of circulation digitization have a significantly higher effect in reducing the urban-rural income gap.Finally,circulation digitization can significantly reduce the income gap by promoting agricultural production and urbanization.Rural infrastructure construction can effectively enhance the inhibitory effect of digital circulation on expanding the urban-rural income gap.Therefore,we should vigorously develop the digital transformation of the circulation industry,strengthen the digital development and construction of circulation in the central and western regions,assist the agricultural production and urbanization process,and pay attention to the construction of rural infrastructure.
