摘要
为降低5G网络负载,通过将Wi-Fi AP等Non-3GPP设备的数据流路由到5G核心网络来进行计费。通过改进UPF设计,以网络切片方式将数据分发到Non-3GPP网络,让从3GPP切换至Non-3GPP的数据不再经由5G核心网,而是直接路由到Wi-Fi AP目的地,使得Non-3GPP网络的数据流路由路径缩短。反之,当从Non-3GPP切换至3GPP时,所监测数据遣返至UPF作统计,从而提高整体网络通信效率。
To reduce the 5G network load,data streams from non-3GPP devices such as Wi-Fi AP are routed to the 5G core network for billing.In this paper,by improving the UPF design,data is distributed to the non-3GPP network in the way of network slicing,so that the data switched from 3GPP to Non-3GPP is no longer routed through the 5G core network,but directly routed to the Wi-Fi AP destination,so that the data flow path of the Non-3GPP network is shortened.On the contrary,when switching from non-3GPP to 3GPP,the monitored data will be returned to UPF for statistics,thus improving the overall network communication efficiency.
