In February 2022,Kubo et al.and the Liver Cancer Study Group of Japan published a clinical practice guideline for the treatment of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma(iCCA)(1).Their guideline consists of a treatment algorithm for iCCA with five background statements,16 clinical questions and one clinical topic discussion(1).
