共同富裕进程中城乡“数字鸿沟”的检验与测度

Test and Measurement on Urban-rural Digital Divide in the Process of Common Affluence

发展数字经济是实现共同富裕的重要举措,而弥合“数字鸿沟”成了发挥二者协同关系的关键所在。文章基于2011—2019年我国287个地级市的面板数据,对数字经济发展带来的“三级数字鸿沟”进行检验。结果显示,数字化显著提高了城乡居民整体收入水平,但这种积极作用并非动态均衡的,在数字经济发展早期确实存在城乡“数字鸿沟”现象,但随着数字化进程的深入,城乡“数字鸿沟”开始逐步弥合,并且这种弥合效应在时间线上呈现逐步强化的趋势。进一步分析发现,数字经济发展带来的弥合效应存在显著的门槛特征,并因城市所处区位的不同和城市规模差异而表现出异质性。

Developing digital economy is an important measure to achieve common affluence,and bridging the Digital Di⁃vide has become the key to playing the synergistic relationship between the two.Based on the panel data of 287 prefecture-level cities in China from 2011 to 2019,this paper tests the Three-level Digital Divide brought by the development of digital economy.The results are shown as below:Digitalization has significantly improved the overall income level of urban and rural residents,but this positive effect is not of dynamic equilibrium.In the early stage of the development of digital economy,there is indeed a phe⁃nomenon of Digital Divide between urban and rural areas.However,with the deepening of the digitalization process,the Digital Divide between urban and rural areas begins to bridge gradually,and this bridging effect shows a trend of gradual strengthening on the timeline.Further analysis indicates that the bridging effect brought by the development of digital economy has significant threshold characteristics,and shows heterogeneity in the location and size of cities.
