论向歆父子文献编纂思想对班固《汉书》的贡献

A Study on the Contribution of Liu Xiang and His Son’s Literature Compilation to The Book of Han of Ban Gu

向歆父子对文献的整理和编纂是继孔子之后我国古代文化史上又一创造性的伟大工程,他们的《别录》和《七略》是中国古代编辑史不朽丰碑。向歆父子崇儒扬经、经世致用,求真务实、择善而从,辨章学术、传承文化的编纂思想和编纂方法,对班固产生了极大的影响。向歆父子编校的中秘图书是班固编纂《汉书》的重要文献来源,向歆父子的撰述成果和观点被班固在《汉书》中大量引用。从某种意义上说,如果没有向歆父子的文献编纂成就,也就不可能有班固的《汉书》。

The literature collation and compilation of Liu Xiang and his son is a creative great project since Confucius in the history of ancient Chinese culture.They compile Bie Lu and Qi Lue which are immortal monuments in the ancient Chinese editing history.Liu Xiang and his son have great influence on Ban Gu in the aspects of compilation ideas and methods such as worshiping Confucianism,preaching the classics,being practical,seeking truth and pragmatism,choosing the right course and follow it,distinguishing the academic chapter and inheriting culture.The imperial collection of books edited by Liu Xiang and his son is the important literature resources for Ban Gu’s compilation of“The Book of Han”,in addition,their achievement and ideas are cited heavily in“The Book of Han”.In a sense,the“The Book of Han”can never be made without Liu Xiang and his son’s compilation achievements.
