Artistic Review of the Western China Corridor Road Network of the Silk Road

丝绸之路中国西部廊道路网指西北与西南相互联通自然形成的网状道路,包括“丝绸之路:长安—天山廊道的路网”中国段,“西南丝绸之路”“高原丝绸之路”,以及丝绸之路“青海道”和与之相关的“唐蕃古道”“茶马古道”等,同时关联“草原丝绸之路”,几乎辐射整个陆上丝绸之路东段,并与丝绸之路西段连通。经由西部廊道路网的交流交汇,构成跨地域、跨民族、多种艺术元素相融相通、相互影响、和而不同的艺术格局,推动了异域文化艺术的国际化和本土化。其共生交融性和共通性为中国艺术嬗变及东方艺术体系的生成发挥了特殊作用。丝绸之路上多元文化艺术元素和样式的交流交融,壮健了中国艺术的肌体而形成中国特色、气派和风格,其得力于中国在丝绸之路开通前已经具有的艺术积累和接受基础,得力于上古文化厚实的底蕴和独特内涵,也得力于兼收并蓄包容阔达的气度。中国西北和西南作为最早也最重要的对外开放通道,为容纳和消化异质文化艺术提供了广阔空间,有了西北和西南的“容纳之量”,也才有后来中国艺术整体的“消化之功”。

The Western China corridor road network of the Silk Road refers to the naturally formed mesh roads of northwestly southwestly interconnection,including“the Silk Road”:the Chinese stretch of Chang'an-Tianshan corridor road network,“the Southwest Silk Road”,“the Plateau Silk Road”,“Qinghai Stretch”of the Silk Road,and the related“Ancient Tang Bo Road”and“the Ancient Tea-horse Road”.Meanwhile,it is related with“the Grassland Silk Road”,radiating out to almost the whole eastern stretch of the Silk Road on land,connected with the western stretch of the Silk Road.The interaction and convergence via the corridor road network in the western China constitute a cross region,cross-ethnic-group,and niulti-artistic-element pattern of arts of mutual integration and connection,mutual influence,and unity of diversity;and this has promoted the internationalization and localization of foreign cultures and arts.Its symbiotic integration and universality have played a special role in the evolution of Chinese arts and the formation of oriental artistic system.The interaction and integration of multiple cultural and artistic elements and forms along the Silk Road have strengthened the Chinese arts and help them develop Chinese characteristics,manner,and styles.And this benefits from the artistic accumulation and receptive foundation before the opening of the Silk Road,the profound background and unique connotation of the ancient culture,the all embracing and open minded bearing.As the important opening up channels,the northwest and southwest have offered vast space to accom modate and digest heterogeneous cultures and arts;and with the“accommodation capacity”of the northwest and southwest,comes into being the subsequent general“digesting function”of the Chinese arts.
