A Brief Introduction to the Development of Petroleum Industry in Nigeria

尼日利亚石油工业自1908年开始勘探,1956年发现商业性油藏,至2020年其原油产量居非洲第一。简要回顾了尼日利亚石油工业跌宕起伏的发展历程,分析了石油工业对其环境与经济结构等方面产生的负面影响,认为尼日利亚石油工业在具备持续发展的资源潜力的同时,也应对环境保护和社会可持续协调发展等做出更多思考。

The Nigerian oil industry started an exploration in 1908,and commercial oil reservoirs were discovered in 1956.By 2020,its crude oil production still ranked first in Africa.This article briefly reviews the up-and-down development history of Nigeria's oil industry,and also analyzes the negative impact of the oil industry on the country's environment and economic structure.While seeing the resource potential of the sustainable development of the country's oil industry,this study inspires us to think more about the sustainable coordinated development of the oil industry,the environment and society.
