编码提取整合视角下法律英语词汇习得研究

摘要 从编码与提取整合的视角,结合认知科学与教育心理学领域“交错学习”理论,本研究针对法律英语词汇一词多义的特点,对比了交错练习与集中练习两种词汇学习任务下,不同学科背景的学生(法学与非法学)在法律英语词汇的接受性知识与产出性知识上的学习效果。研究结果表明,即时后测与延时后测中,交错练习的词汇促学效果均显著优于集中练习。是否具有法律学科背景并未影响学习效果。本研究在一定程度上支持了词汇学习的交错效应,对法律英语词汇教学有一定的启示。 From the perspective of encoding-retrieval account,the present study investigates the effects of interleaved practice on the acquisition of legal English vocabulary by students from different disciplinary backgrounds(legal and non-legal)under two vocabulary learning tasks:the interleaved practice and the blocked practice.The results showed that there was a significant main effect of presentation order and no main effect of disciplinary background in both the immediate and delayed post-tests,and there was no interaction effect of presentation and disciplinary background.Students in the interleaved group outperformed those in the blocked group regardless of the disciplinary background.The present study supports the interleaving effects on vocabulary learning to some extent and has implications for legal English vocabulary teaching.
