Problems and Countermeasures for Building a Higher Level of Safe Border in the Perspective of Peaceful China

党的二十大报告三次提到平安中国及其建设。作为平安中国的有机组成部分,边境地区地理位置特殊、战略地位重要,在平安中国建设中占有极其重要的地位。目前,边境地区在一定程度上存在着安全风险较多较大、发展不平衡不充分、重安全轻发展等问题,亟须统筹边境发展和安全、推进边境安全体系和能力现代化、提升边境地区吸引力、创造温馨的宜居环境,进而确保边境安全,促进边境地区高质量发展,以边境新安全格局保障国家新发展格局。

The report of the Twentieth National Congress of the Communist Party of China mentioned Peaceful China and Peaceful China Initiative three times.As an integral part of Peaceful China,border areas play an extremely important role in the construction of Peaceful China due to their special geographical location and important strategic position.However,there are indeed many problems like security risks,unbalanced and inadequate development,focusing more on safety than on development.Therefore,it is of great significance to coordinate the development and security of the border,promote the modernization of the border security system and capacity,enhance the attractiveness of the border areas,create a suitable living environment,thereby ensuring border security,promoting high-quality development of the border areas,and safeguarding the new development pattern of the country with a new border security pattern.
