跨媒介性是一个多种媒介参与、反映媒介间相互关系的概念,是一个类似于克里斯蒂娃的“互文性”的概念。丰子恺的“古诗新画”类漫画,不仅涉及诗、画、书法等不同媒介间的互涉关系,同时也涉及跨媒介的主题指涉。重读丰子恺,涉及艺术史和艺术理论层面的跨媒介话语建构,即基于特定艺术实践的不同媒介间的关系、张力和内在机制研究,它提供了从文学、艺术等复调层面展开跨媒介艺术的叙事研究的理论可能性和阐释视角。
