摘要 2022年11月22日,《时时刻刻》(The Hours)在大都会歌剧院世界首演,并于12月10日上线大都会流媒体平台直播。歌剧改编自迈克尔·坎宁安(Michael Cunningham)的同名小说及奥斯卡获奖影片,由普利策音乐奖得主凯文·普茨(Kevin Puts)创作。普茨与女高音蕾妮·弗莱明(Renee Fleming)是伊士曼音乐学院(EastmanSchoolof Music)的校友,正是弗莱明提议创作该剧,并饰演了剧中的现代版“达洛维夫人”克拉丽莎·沃恩(Clarissa Vaughan)。 The Hours,a new opera based on the 1998 novel and the 2002 film it inspired,features a redoubtable trio of prima donnas.And it was conceived as a vehicle for one of them,soprano Renee Fleming,who was using it as her return to the Metropolitan Opera after a five-year hiatus.When the Met gave The Hours its staged premiere,only one of this trio of stars really shone:mezzo-soprano Joyce DiDonato,sounding as confident and fresh,as sonorous and subtle,as she ever has in this theater.
