Nolla法在乌鲁木齐地区维、汉未成年人群中通过牙龄推断年龄的应用

Application of Nolla method to estimate age of Uygur and Han Minority Population in Urumqi area from dental age

目的评估应用Nolla法推断乌鲁木齐地区维吾尔族和汉族3~16岁未成年人群年龄的适用性和准确性。方法收集2019年~2021年新疆医科大学附属口腔医院年龄在3~16岁的乌鲁木齐地区维吾尔族和汉族拍摄的全口曲面体层片1208例,其中维吾尔族547例(男性:267例,女性:280例),汉族661例(男性:347例,女性:314例)。按照Nolla法分期标准及其提供的年龄转换表获得牙龄。将所得牙龄与生理年龄进行配对t检验。结果维吾尔族男性平均生理年龄为(8.81±3.75)岁,女性为(9.62±3.68)岁;男性平均低估了0.06岁,女性平均低估了0.52岁;平均绝对误差(Mean Absolute Error,MAE)男、女性分别为0.70岁和0.80岁。汉族男性平均生理年龄为(9.07±3.77)岁,女性为(8.96±3.86)岁;男性平均低估了0.13岁,女性平均低估了0.64岁;MAE男、女性分别为0.69岁和0.90岁。结论Nolla法适用于除女性15~16岁的乌鲁木齐地区维吾尔族和汉族未成年人群,维吾尔族准确性高于汉族,男性较女性准确。另外,本研究提出了恒牙总成熟度-生理年龄的拟合曲线及方程,可为评估乌鲁木齐地区维吾尔族和汉族未成年人个体恒牙发育情况及临床诊疗工作提供参考。

Objective To evaluate the applicability and accuracy of Nolla method in estimating the age of 3~16years old minors of Uygur and Han ethnic groups in Urumqi.Methods From 2019 to 2021,1208 orthopantomographs(OPGs)of Uygur and Han people aged 3 to 16 years in Urumqi were collected from the Affiliated Stomatological Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University,including 547 Uygur(267 males and 280 females)and 661 Han(347 males and 314females).The dental age was obtained according to the Nolla method staging standard and the provided age conversion table.The paired t-test was performed between the dental age and physiological age.Results The average physiological age of Uygur males was(8.81±3.75)years,and that of females was(9.62±3.68)years;Nolla method underestimated the physiological age by an average of 0.06 years for male and 0.52 years for female;Mean absolute error(MAE)was 0.70 years for male and 0.80 years for female.The average physiological age of Han male was(9.07±3.77)years,and that of female was(8.96±3.86)years;Nolla method underestimated the physiological age by an average of 0.13 years for male and 0.64 years for female;MAE was 0.69 years for male and 0.90 years for female.Conclusion The Nolla method is applicable to the Uygur and Han Minority Population in Urumqi except for female aged 15~16 years old.The accuracy of Uygur is higher than that of Han,and that of male is more accurate than that of female.In addition,the fitting curve and equation between the total maturity and physiological age of permanent teeth are proposed in this study,which can provide a reference for assessing the development of individual permanent teeth and clinical diagnosis and treatment of Uygur and Han minors in Urumqi.
