Objective To explore the effect of high quality operation room nursing on postoperative pulmonary infection rate in patients with thoracic surgery. Methods One hundred and thirty-two patients who received thoracic surgery in our hospital from February 2016 to December 2019 were selected and divided into groups according to the sequence of operations to provide routine nursing care for 66 patients in the reference group and to provide high-quality operating room nursing mode for 66 patients in the experimental group. The respiratory function indexes, the incidence of pulmonary infection and the satisfaction of patients with care were compared between the two groups. Results The respiratory frequency, blood oxygen saturation, maximum ventilation volume and first second forced respiration volume of the experimental group were all measured better than the reference group;the incidence of postoperative pulmonary infection in the experimental group was 3.03%,which was significantly decreased compared with 13.64%in the reference group;the nursing satisfaction score of the patients in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the reference group;the comparison between the groups P<0.05.Conclusion The high-quality operating room nursing model for thoracic surgery patients is positively helpful in promoting the recovery of respiratory function after surgery and reducing the risk of lung infection, and can also make patients more satisfied with nursing services, which is worth promoting.
