兽医硕士专业课程“动物疫病防控”案例教学研究与应用

The research and application of case teaching in Animal Disease Prevention and Control course for master of veterinary medicine

案例教学是近年来在研究生课程中广泛开展的一种教学方式,即由传统的老师讲授为主转变为案例分析为主、教师引导学生思考、师生共同参与的教学方式,进而形成教学相长的教学方法。“动物疫病防控”是兽医硕士的重要专业课之一,也是一门理论与实践紧密结合的课程。文章从国内外案例教学的发展及“动物疫病防控”课程特点、案例库建设意义、案例库应用前景等几方面探讨案例教学在动物疫病防控课程教学中的作用。案例教学的应用将促进兽医硕士更好地掌握动物疫病防控相关知识,缩短理论与实践的距离,提高研究生培养质量,其研究成果更有助于丰富国内专业学位教学案例库资源。

In recent years,case teaching is widely used in classrooms of graduate courses,which simulates real world situations and asks students to engage in complex problems.This method of instruction designed to promote both teaching and learning through the mode of transforming teacher lecturing-based teaching into a case-based teaching.The course of Animal Disease Prevention and Control,as one of the required courses for graduate students to pursue the master of veterinary medicine,characterizes with a combination of theories and practice.This article discusses the significance of case teaching in the teaching of Animal Disease Prevention and Control courses from the perspectives of the development of case teaching at home and abroad,the characteristics and significance of case library construction and its application prospects.The application of case teaching would help the master candidates better grasp the relevant knowledge of animal disease prevention and control,strengthen their practice ability,improve the proficiency of postgraduate training,and associated research achievements would enrich the resources of professional degree teaching case library in China.
