Historical Evolution and Current Situation of Socialist Movement in West Asia and North Africa

阿拉伯社会主义是一些阿拉伯国家奉行的以伊斯兰教为基础、以阿拉伯国家统一为目标的社会主义。自20世纪50年代起,一些由民族主义政党执政的阿拉伯国家开始宣称实行社会主义。阿拉伯社会主义流派虽然多样多元,但有相似的思想基础和目标追求。近年来,在民族主义、政治伊斯兰力量式微的背景下,阿拉伯左翼政党开始活跃起来,崭露头角,影响不断扩大。阿拉伯国家社会主义思潮活力持续,“向东看”已成潮流,但阿拉伯地区共产党和左翼力量整体崛起尚需一个过程。

Arab socialism is a kind of socialism pursued by some Arab countries which is based on Islam and aims at the unity of Arab countries.Since the 1950s,some Arab countries ruled by nationalist parties have begun to declare the implementation of socialism.Arab socialist schools are diverse but have similar ideological basis and goals.In recent years,against the background of the decline of Arab nationalism and political Islam,left-wing parties have become active and come to prominence with expanded influence.The vitality of socialist ideological trends in Arab countries continues and“looking east”has become a trend,but the overall rise of communist party and left-wing force in the Arab region still takes time.
