老年医学科主要面对老年共病、老年问题或老年综合征及多种用药的老年患者,其核心技术是老年综合评估。老年科医生应该把老年患者作为一个“全人”看待,采用整合医学思维模式,不仅要看老年病,更要注重老年功能维护,早期识别并处理老年健康风险因素。老年综合评估(CGA)是一个多维度、跨学科的诊疗过程,能早期识别老年综合征(筛查风险)、评估其程度或分期、发现其原因或诱因并提出预防或治疗措施。该文主要介绍老年综合评估的意义、开展老年综合评估的方法及其与老年综合征、老年病之间的关系。
