The Internal Logic and Experience of Socialist Consultative Democracy in Promoting the Modernization of National Governance

我国的协商民主探索于新民主主义革命时期,发展完善于社会主义建设和改革开放时期,是中国本土化、制度化的一种民主治理形式。协商民主作为我国政治制度的一部分,在目标指向和实现途径等方面,与国家治理存在高度契合,二者都强调人民主体、治理主体多元化和制度化建设。坚持中国共产党的领导、坚持不断完善制度体系、坚持人民民主的原则和目标指向,是我们在以协商民主推进国家治理现代化的过程中积累的宝贵经验。

Deliberative democracy in China was explored in the period of the New Democratic Revolution,developed and improved in the socialist construction and reform and opening up,is a form of democratic governance with Chinese localization and institutionalization.Consultative democracy,as a part of China's political system,is highly compatible with national governance in terms of goal orientation and implementation approaches.Both of them emphasize the people's leading role,the pluralism of governance bodies and institutional construction.Consultative democracy has accumulated some valuable experience in the process of promoting the modernization of national governance:adhering to the leadership of the CPC;adhere to and improve system construction;adhere to the guiding principle of people's democracy.
