With the advantages of stable quality,good weldability,long service life,strong puncture resistance and permitting convenient construction,geomembrane has been widely utilized in the construction of water conservancy,transportation and municipal works.An introduction was made on the application of geomembrane in canal seepage prevention,aqueduct leakage stop and dam reinforcement of Hongchaojiang Reservoir Irrigation Zone.The author discussed the key issues and engineering effects of geomembrane construction for irrigation zone modification project.
