《平播日录》中明代平播战争史料价值探论

在记载明朝平定播州末代土司杨应龙的诸多史料中,尤其不当忽略时任南川路监军的高折枝所撰《平播日录》。该书弥足珍贵,论者引用极少,它记载了总兵刘綎在平播战争中的功过、火器在明军对战土司武装时的优势、杨应龙攻破重庆府綦江县的情况、杨应龙日益难制的原因、明军大征时的兵力及誓词、水西土司对征播的态度、评论对战双方用兵得失、记平播时其他细节等诸多历史事实。这些内容为它书所无,或者详细程度超过它书,可弥补总督李化龙所撰《平播全书》中的不足之处,对研究明朝万历年间的“三大征”军事行动有重要的历史文献价值。

Among the historical records of Yang Ying-long,the last Tusi in the Ming Dynasty,the Ping Bo Daily Record written by Gao Zhe-zhi who was the military inspector of Nanchuan Route should not be ignored.This book is very valuable and rarely quoted by critics.It records many historical facts,such as the merits and demerits of the Chief Soldier Liu Ting in the Ping Bo War,the advantages of fi-rearms in the Ming Army’s armed battle against Tusi,the situation of Yang Yinglong’s defeat of Qijiang County,Chongqing Fu,the reason why Yang Yinglong was increasingly difficult to control,the strength and oath of the Ming Army during the War,the attitude of the Shuixi Tusi towards the War,the comments on the gains and losses of the two sides in the War,and other details in the Ping Bo War.These contents are not found in other books,or are more detailed than those in other books,which can make up for the deficiencies in the Ping Bo Quan Shu written by Governor Li Hualong,and have important historical literature value for studying the“three major ex-peditions”military operations during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty.
