Reading to Learn,Learn to Practice——Review of Shanxi Province "High-Quality Yearbooks Reading Season" Series of Activities

2022年9月,中国地方志指导小组办公室发出通知,在全国开展“精品年鉴品读季”活动。山西省在全国率先展开以“读精品、用精品、编精品”为主题的“精品年鉴品读季”系列活动,以读促学,学以致用,品比改悟,学用结合,参加培训人数居全国前列,征文数在省内年鉴征文史上创新高。活动拓展了年鉴编纂思路,提升了编纂水平,取得实际成效,并向常态化、长效化发展。

In September 2022, The Office of Chinese Local Chronicles Guidance Group published a notice to encourage the "High-Quality Yearbooks Reading Activities" all around the nation. Shanxi Province firstly launched a series of activities with the theme of "Reading, Applying, and Compiling High-Quality Yearbooks". As a result, the training events had one of the highest participation rates in the nation and the number of received papers hit a historical high in Shanxi. The series of events raised the level of compilation, enlarged the yearbook’s concepts, produced practical outcomes, and contributed to normalization and long-term sustainable development.
