Relay protection device is the main part of the current power system operation process,and plays a key role in power regulation.Based on this,combined with the actual situation and operation requirements of power regulation,this paper defines the performance requirements of relay protection devices,analyzes the common problems of relay protection application according to the actual situation in the application process of relay protection devices,and then puts forward effective measures to strengthen the application effect of relay protection devices in intelligent substations,which is of positive significance to improve the practicality and reliability of relay protection in power regulation.
