老牌专业期刊持续保持活力的策略探索——以百年刊物The Journal of Physical Chemistry为例

The Journal of Physical Chemistry(JPC)是在物理化学领域已有126年创刊历史,至今仍持续保持活力的专业刊物。针对其办刊策略进行分析,基于对重要事件的梳理,将发展历程分为3个阶段,并从主编、专刊设置、学术团体平台角度对其办刊策略进行分析总结,归纳出以下几点以供参考:(1)合适的主编人选应具有研究经历丰富、所研究领域为学科发展前沿、与学术团体关系紧密等特点;(2)专刊(专辑)的设置要根据学科的发展阶段,制订相应的组织策略;(3)学术期刊要始终坚持学术团体交流平台这一角色,根据学术团体的变化,在出版形式、刊文宗旨、出版内容等方面加以调整。

The Journal of Physical Chemistry JPC has been published for 126 years in the field of physical chemistry and still exists as a dynamic professional journal today.The development process is divided into three stages based on the analysis of its publishing strategy and the reviewing of important events.From the perspective of chief editor special issue organizing and academic group platform the following points are summarized for reference 1 The appropriate editor in chief should have extensive research experience and research interest in the forefront of discipline development and close relationship with academic groups 2 The special issue should be set up according to the stage of the discipline development and the corresponding organizational strategy should be implemented 3 Academic journals should always stick to the role of communication platform for academic groups and make adjustment in terms of publication form scope and content according to the change of the academic groups.
