科技期刊编辑职能认知陷阱与重构

Cognitive trap and reconstruction of talent function of periodical editors

业界倡导科技期刊编辑做全能型、复合型、学者型编辑。较高的能力要求与较低的身份感和成就感形成反差,导致部分优秀人才焦虑出走。本文探讨科技期刊编辑的职能认知,是对缓解科技期刊编辑身份焦虑和职业焦虑,以及青年编辑个人职业规划的理论探索,旨在提供一种不同视角的科技期刊编辑培养和管理模式。文章着眼我国期刊发展历史,基于科技发展、人才成长、个体能力差异等理论,分析成为全能型、复合型、学者型编辑中的陷阱,重构了科技高速发展时期科技期刊编辑的职能,根据我国科技期刊出版行业特色提出了科技期刊出版行业人才培养和组织的基本原则,在原有的“学术组织职能”“稿件编校职能”和“编辑部事务职能”的基础上新增了两项职能。在优化我国科技期刊出版行业人才管理方面有一定指导意义,对建设一支高效的科技期刊出版行业人才队伍和培育世界一流科技期刊有一定促进作用。

The publishing industry of sci-tech academic journals in China has been in a state of scattered small and weak for a long time and the cultivation of editors has a strong journal oriented feature.The concept of cultivating all-round compound and scholar editors of sci-tech journals is the historical continuation of the publishing industry of sci-tech journals.The sci-tech academic journal publishing industry is facing various changes such as the acceleration of scientific research the outbreak of information technology and the internationalization of journal competition.If we can􀆶t adjust the training mechanism of editors in time it will not only cause the anxiety of the employees in the industry but also lead to the rapid loss of editors.The correct understanding of the post function of sci-tech academic journal editors under the new situation is the basis of editor training.Based on the differences of individual personality the limitation of energy and time the infinity of science and technology development the law of talent growth and the law of scientific research development this paper analyzes major traps in the cultivation of all-round compound and scholar editors.In order to alleviate the current situation of weak international competitiveness and the loss of professional editors this paper reconstructs the editing function of sci-tech academic journals in the new era and puts forward the basic principles of talent cultivation and organization of sci-tech journals publishing industry according to the characteristics of China􀆶s sci-tech journals publishing industry.Two new functions are added on the basis of the original􀆵academic organization function􀆵manuscript editing function and􀆵editorial department affairs function.It has a certain theoretical significance in optimizing the talent management of China􀆶s sci-tech academic journal publishing industry and has a certain role in promoting the goal of training world-class scientific and technological journals.
