摘要
采用相控阵超声检测技术(PAUT)和数字射线检测技术(DR)对含有不同焊接缺陷的聚乙烯管道电熔焊接接头进行无损检测,通过分析不同焊接缺陷的特征图谱,探讨了PAUT和DR检测聚乙烯管道各类焊接缺陷的优劣性。试验结果表明PAUT对聚乙烯管道电熔焊接存在的工艺缺陷(冷焊、过焊)、孔洞、夹渣和未熔合缺陷都具有较高的缺陷检出率,尤其是针对不同程度的工艺缺陷,具有较高的检测灵敏度,但是对孔洞、夹渣和未熔合等体积型缺陷定性较难;DR对聚乙烯管道电熔焊接存在的孔洞、夹渣、未熔合及过焊缺陷具有较高的缺陷检出率,检测结果直观可靠,但是对冷焊缺陷的检出率较低。
The Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing(PAUT) and Digital Radiographic(DR) Testing were proposed to detect the Electro-Fusion Joints of polyethylene pipes with different welding defects, and analyzed the characteristic maps of different welding defects, then summarized the advantages and disadvantages of PAUT and DR in detecting electro-fusion welding defects of polyethylene pipeline.The test results showed that, the PAUT method had a high detection rate for process defects(cold and over welding),slag inclusion, holes and incomplete fusion, especially to the process defects in different degrees, this method had a high detection sensitivity, but it was difficult to characterize holes, slag inclusion and incomplete fusion defects.DR method had a high defect detection rate for holes, slag inclusion, incomplete fusion and over welding defects, and the detection results were intuitive and reliable, but the detection rate for cold welding defects was low.
