Industrial Pipeline Corrosion Detection Based on Pulsed Eddy Current Technology

工业管道常应用于石油化工领域,是各大化工装置中常见的一种承压类特种设备。不同于锅炉与压力容器,工业管道由于架空敷设,数量多且安装形式复杂,因此其管理十分困难,且工业管道常常处于非常恶劣的工况,因此工业管道因腐蚀泄露造成的事故概率较其余承压类特种设备更高。针对工业管道的腐蚀检测有多种手段,脉冲涡流检测技术是近年来大力推广的一种新型无损检测技术,具有在不拆保温/保冷层条件下实现在线检测的优势。介绍了实验条件下脉冲涡流检测的可行性,通过实际的检测案例证实了脉冲涡流检测技术针对工业管道腐蚀缺陷具有非常良好的检测能力,值得后续进行大力推广。

Industrial pipeline is often used in petrochemical industry,which is a kind of common pressure special equipment in various chemical installations.Different from boilers and pressure vessels,industrial pipelines are very difficult to manage due to the large number of overhead laying and complex installation forms,and industrial pipelines are often in very bad working conditions,so the accident probability caused by corrosion leakage of industrial pipelines is higher than that of other pressure special equipment.There are many methods for the corrosion detection of industrial pipelines.Pulsed eddy current testing technology is one of the new non-destructive testing technology vigorously promoted in recent years.It has the advantage of realizing online detection without removing the insulation/cold protection layer.Through the actual testing cases,it is proved that the pulsed eddy current testing technology has a very good detection ability for industrial pipeline corrosion defects,which is worthy of further promotion.
