美国农村社区“放学后计划”:背景、行动及困境——基于《需求激增,障碍增多:影响农村社区课后和暑期学习的趋势》的考察

摘要 美国农村社区“放学后计划”旨在解决中小学放学后的难题,满足学生个性化需求,提升学生学业成就,促进教育公平。该计划以依托多方场所提供丰富的课后项目、重视师资质量及环境安全、加大经费援助、借助多渠道反馈作为实施策略,在促进学生综合素质的发展与支持家长工作等方面取得了显著成效,但目前也面临未满足需求激增、参与障碍增多、STEM课程发展相对滞后等困境。美国农村社区“放学后计划”的主要经验在于:提高家庭认知水平,建立健全的课程体系,确保师资质量,改善课程可及性,加大项目支持力度,探寻个性化发展路径。 The“Afterschool Program”in American rural communities aims to solve the problems after school,meet the individual needs of students,improve students’academic achievement,and promote educational equity.The program has mainly taken such strategies as relying on various places to provide rich after-school programs,paying attention to the quality of teachers and environmental safety,increasing financial assistance,and using multichannel feedback,and has achieved remarkable results in promoting the development of students’comprehensive quality and supporting parents’work.However,it is also facing the difficulties of surging unmet demand,increasing barriers to participation,and relatively lagging development of STEM courses.The main experience of The program lies in:improving family awareness,establishing a sound curriculum system,ensuring the quality of teachers,improving curriculum accessibility,increasing program support,and exploring personalized development paths.
