档案与共同体记忆建构

Archives and the Construction of Community Memory

共同体是基于共同特征联结而成的人类群体,它可为个体提供身份感、安全感及意义感,也可促进社会秩序的维系与社会整合。共同体的形成需植根于共同体成员之间的共享记忆。共同体档案是共同体的过去媒介化后的记忆文本,因而是共同体记忆建构的重要媒介和工具。档案参与共同体记忆建构是一个连续性的过程,包括档案的形成、捕获、组织、展演与聚合五个维度。共同体成员形成的记录需被捕获并被纳入共同体框架,经组织形成共同体档案,通过对共同体档案信息的挖掘、情感的传递,形成共同体档案叙事,并实现共同体过去在共同体内部的共享,从而建构起共同体记忆。不同共同体的档案也可相互聚合形成更大范围的共同体档案,通过对这些档案的展演,也可建构起更大范围乃至人类共同体记忆,促进人类命运共同体的建构和发展。

community is constituted by a group of people linked by common characteristics.It can provide individuals with a sense of identity,security,and meaning,and can also promote the maintenance of social order and social integration.The formation of a community is rooted in shared memory of its members.Community archives are the mediated memory texts of a community's past,and are therefore the important media and tools for the construction of this community's memory.Using archives to construct a community's memory is a continuing process,which includes five dimensions.They are the creation,capture,organization,representation,and pluralization of archives.The archives created by a community's members need to be captured into the framework of this community,and to be organized to form the community archives,and then the community archives narratives will be created by the exploration of the information and the affect contained in archives and will be shared by the community's members,thus constructing the community's memory.Different community archives can be agglomerated to form bigger community archives,and a bigger memory of the community and even that of all human beings can be constructed by the representation of the archives,thus promoting the building and development of a community with a shared future.
