Mao Zedong's sports thought and Xi Jinping's important expositions on sports work are the theoretical results of the combination of the universal principles of Marxism and the practice of Chinese sports.The two have the inherent isomorphism of homology,homogeneity and same direction in terms of gene roots,scientific connotation and value orientation.In-depth study of the isomorphic relationship between them has important theoretical and practical significance for enriching and developing Mao Zedong's sports thought in the new era,and taking Xi Jinping's important exposition on sports work as a guide to better promote the development of sports in our country.In terms of genetic homology between Mao's sports ideology and Xijingping's impor-tant discussions on sports work,research suggests that there is first a cultural"common ancestor",that is,both originate from excellent traditional Chinese culture.Secondly,the theory of"the same ancestor"between the two originated from Marxist philos-ophy.These two theories are homogeneous in connotation,manifested in the following two aspects:first,the homogeneity of the idea of sports power;Second,the homogeneity of mind and body.These two theories have the same orientation in values,which is manifested in the following three aspects:first,the development of sports for thc pcople,which is the common value goal of both;Secondly,the development of sports depends on the people,which is the common value driving force of both;Thirdly,the development of sports is judged by the people,which is the common value evaluation of both.The research has obtained the following three important inspirations:1.Using Marxist sports theory to guide sports practice;2.Carry out sports work around the central task of the CPC;3.Sports construction must adhere to the principle of taking the people as the center.
