A Study on the Edition and Author of Tianjia Wuxing

《田家五行》是一部编纂于元代末年的农业占候书,其作者素有争议,版本流传也较为复杂。通过对《田家五行》各版本的比勘,可发现明嘉靖九年(1530年)顾应祥刻本是该书现存最早版本,明代各丛书本皆以其为祖本,并在传刻中对该本做了删减与节录,形成了多种文本面貌。顾应祥本标称的作者“娄元礼”可能并非《田家五行》的实际作者。明初的方志史料提示,《田家五行》为元末人陆泳所作,娄元礼本或为顾应祥本之底本,一个《田家五行》与《田家五行纪历撮要》合编本的编校人。

Tianjia Wuxing is a book on agricultural divination compiled in the late Yuan dynasty.There is no definitive answer as to who the author was,and the provenance of the edition is complicated.A comparison of the various editions of Tianjia Wuxing reveals that the earliest surviving edition of the book is the one block-printed by Gu Yingxiang in the ninth year of the Jiajing period of the Ming dynasty.The various editions of the book that appeared in the Ming dynasty were compiled on the basis of this text,which was abridged and redacted in the transmission,thus giving form to a variety of editions.The author of the Gu Yingxiang edition,'Lou Yuanli',may not be the actual author of Tianjia Wuxing.The local chronicles of the early Ming dynasty suggest that Tianjia Wuxing was written by Lu Yong in the late Yuan dynasty,and that Lou Yuanli’s edition may have been the base for Gu Yingxiang's edition,which is a combination of Tianjia Wuxing and Tianjia Wuxing Jili Cuoyao.
