The scientific distinction between the concepts of“self-reform of Party”and“full and rigorous selfgovernance of Party”is crucial to improving the scientific and standardized Party building disciplines.“Selfrefom of Party”is the core concept of Party building discipline,which connotes the new great project of Party building and overlaps with the concept of full and rigorous self-governance of Party.However,there are differ⁃ences between the two in terms of composition,spirit,objectivity,internal logical relationship,and the develop⁃ment of specific content,so they cannot be rashly mixed.At the same time,we should adhere to the openness of the discipline of Party building research,scientifically grasp the organic connection between the two,and deep⁃ly understand that the Party’s self-reform is the theoretical sublimation of the comprehensive implementation of the strategic plan of full and rigorous self-governance of Party in the new era.The full and rigorous self-gov⁃ernance of Party with its rich connotation interprets the internal requirements of self-reform,and is the most profound self-revolution that the Party has focused on promoting in the new era.A correct understanding of the application field of the two is conducive to expanding the path of promoting the Party and is a necessary step for building a long-term ruling Marxist party.
