淮河民俗文化意象传译研究

A Study on the Image Translation of Huaihe Folk Culture

在中国文化走出去战略指引下,2018年初河南首创了“翻译河南”工程,以河南的文化符号来讲述中国故事、讲好河南故事,其中包括“淮河文化”卷,“淮河文化卷”主要讲述了淮河流域丰富的历史、文化、传统习俗等,字里行间拥有大量极富地方文化特色的专名、术语和典故等,所负载的文化意蕴深厚。文章以诺德“功能+忠诚”翻译理论为指导,选取“淮河文化”卷中独具特色的民俗篇和音乐篇,主要从术语、句段和语篇三个层面选取典型案例进行分析,解析其中所蕴含的淮河文化意象,探讨淮河文化意象的英译技巧。

Under the guidance of the strategy of“Chinese culture going global”,Henan province launched the project of“Translating Henan”at the beginning of 2018 to tell both Chinese and Henan stories with Henan cultural symbols,including the volume“Huaihe Culture”.This volume mainly tells the rich history,culture and traditional customs,etc.of the Huaihe River Basin.Between the lines,there are a large number of special names,terms and allusions with local cultural characteristics carrying profound cultural implications.The whole volume is mostly translated under the guidance of Nord’s“Function+Loyalty”theory,and the typical cases from the sections of unique folk customs and music articles are selected as examples so as to analyze the Huaihe River cultural images contained from the three levels of terms,sentences and discourse,and explore the English translation of Huaihe River cultural images,hoping to pave the way for further in-depth research.
