Adaptive Revision of WIPO Standard Based on the Digitization of IP Document

2022年11月,世界知识产权组织(WIPO)标准委员会(CWS)于日内瓦召开了第十次会议。相较于往届会议,WIPO标准委员会此次会议内容较为丰富,主要议题为制定新的标准并对部分现有标准进行修改,同时对《知识产权信息与文献手册》进行更新,旨在应对数字化时代下新兴技术对知识产权制度带来的冲击,并协助各成员国知识产权局更加高效地完成其各项工作的数字化进程,同时确保各个知识产权局之间的数据资源交换与共享过程更加顺畅。本文就2022年新制定与修改的WIPO标准进行介绍,并就其对全球知识产权数据交换与管理工作的影响进行阐述。

In November 2022,the World Intellectual Property Organization(WIPO)Standards Committee(CWS)held its tenth meeting in Geneva.Compared with previous sessions,this session of the WIPO Standards Committee was rich in content.The main topic was to develop new standards,revise some existing standards,and update the Handbook on Industrial Property Information and Documentation,aiming to cope with the impact of emerging technologies on the intellectual property system in the digital era,and assist the intellectual property offices of member countries in completing the digital process of their work more effi ciently.It also makes the process of data resource exchange and sharing between the intellectual property offices more convenient.This paper introduces the new WIPO standard developed and revised in 2022,and describes its impact on global intellectual property data exchange and management.
