《法德农民问题》是恩格斯晚年思考农民工作问题的纲领性著作,是马克思主义农民理论以及无产阶级革命诸问题的重要组成部分。恩格斯通过对农民社会地位、阶级分层以及命运出路的分析,以法德两国为例具体阐述了社会主义政党农民工作的六项基本原则:自愿性原则、长期性原则、诚实性原则、帮助性原则、特殊性原则以及教育性原则。这些原则相互联系、内在贯通,体现了科学社会主义的基本要求,对指导新时期的农民工作具有重要的现实启示。

The Problems of French and German Peasants is a programmatic work of Engels in his later years,which is an important part of Marxist theory of peasants and proletarian revolution.In this book,Engels makes an analysis on peasants’social status,class stratifi cation and fate,and elaborates,taking France and Germany as examples,six basic principles regarding peasants’work for the socialist party:voluntary principle,long-term principle,honest principle,helpful principle,special principle and educational principle.These principles are interrelated and interlinked,refl ecting the basic requirements of scientifi c socialism,and have important practical enlightenment for guiding the work of peasants in the new period.
