“一气周流”理论是黄元御医学学术思想的高度概括。认为中土为升降之枢轴,四象为轮,左升右降,循环往复,周流不息形成了一气周流的理论,同时将脏腑、气血、阴阳和情志纳入到此模型当中,对情志病的辨证论治具有启发性的作用。抑郁症属于中医中情志病的范畴,其发病多与脏腑、气机和情志等因素相关。治疗应运用培补中气、调畅气机、益精养神等方法,恢复机体枢轴的正常运行。

The theory of general circulation of unitary qi is a high summarization of Huang Yuan-yu's medical academic thought.It is believed that Zhongtu is acted as the pivot of ascending and descending and Sixiang are acted as the wheels,the endless circulation of ascending and descending of qi forms the theory of general circulation of unitary qi.At the same time,the organs,qi and blood,yin and yang,and emotion are inducted in this model,having an enlightening effect on the differential diagnosis of emotional diseases.Depression belongs to the category of emotional disease in traditional Chinese medicine,which is mostly related to the factors such as organs,qi and emotion.In depression treatment,the methods of tonifying middle qi,regulating activities of qi,cultivating spirit should be adopted to restore the normal operation of the body pivot.
