基于文献计量学的中国西尼罗病毒研究特征分析

Characteristics of the Literature on the West Nile Virus in China Based on Bibliometrics

为了解我国关于西尼罗病毒(West Nile virus,WNV)文献的各项研究特征,本文应用文献计量学方法对1942-2021年中国知网(CNKI)和Web of Science(WOS)数据库收录的WNV文献进行分析。由于1999年美国出现WNV暴发流行,全球发文量显著增加,2006年达到峰值,将发文情况总体分为3个阶段:1999年之前对于WNV的关注度有限;1999-2006年,全球整体发文量大幅增加,国内文献数量随之增加,以综述和国外疫情介绍类为主;2006年后全球发文量在300篇/年左右,国内文献类型以实验研究类为主。当前研究热点主要集中在病原学机制研究、暴发疫情、监测与检测、传播媒介和传播模式等方面,而国内以检测方法的建立为主。国内WNV研究主要局限在数家国家级研究机构。鉴于中国已在局部地区发现WNV流行,在今后的研究工作中,亟需在开展WNV病原学、致病机制研究的基础上,建立全国监测体系、提高检测能力、扩大监测范围、增加检测内容,为WNV病防控策略的制定及潜在暴发流行的应对提供科学依据。

We wished to determine the characteristics of the literature on the West Nile virus(WNV) in China.Bibliometric methods were used to analyze WNV-related literature collected by China National Knowledge Infrastructure and Web of Science from 1942 to 2021. After the outbreak of WNV infection in the USA in 1999, the number of publications worldwide increased significantly and reached a peak in 2006. Hence, the overall status of publications was divided into three stages. Before 1999, attention to the WNV was limited. From 1999to 2006, the total number of articles published on the WNV worldwide increased greatly, and the number of articles published in China increased with it(mainly in the categories of reviews and introduction of epidemics).After 2006, the number of global publications on the WNV was-300 per year, and the literature type in China was mainly experimental research. At present, WNV-related literature worldwide is focused mainly on: etiological mechanism;outbreak, surveillance and detection;vector and transmission modes. Establishment of detection methods is the main focus in China. Few research institutions in China are focused on the WNV.WNV epidemics have been documented in some areas of China. Hence, a national surveillance system should be established based on research of the etiology and pathogenesis of the WNV. China must improve the detection capacity, expand the scope of surveillance, and increase detection of the WNV so as to provide a scientific basis for a prevention-and-control strategy and potential outbreak response.
