Logging evaluation of the shale gas reservoir in Lower Cambrian Niutitang Formation,Western Hubei

为深化鄂西地区下寒武统牛蹄塘组页岩勘查认识,通过分析YC2井测井资料和岩心样品测试数据,综合评价牛蹄塘组优质页岩岩性、物性、有机碳丰度及含气性、可压性等,建立牛蹄塘组页岩储层测井评价模型,为该区牛蹄塘组页岩储层测井评价和工程施工提供参数依据。

This study aims to deepen the exploration and understanding of the Lower Cambrian Niutitang Formation shale in western Hubei.A logging evaluation model for the Niutitang Formation shale reservoir was established by comprehensively evaluating the lithology,physical properties,organic carbon abundance,gas-bearing potential and compressibility of high-quality Niutitang Formation shale based on the analysis of logging data from Well YC2 and core sample test data.The model provides parameter basis for logging evaluation and engineering operation of the shale reservoir in Niutitang Formation in this area.
