Study on the characteristics of shale reservoirs and drilling strategies in Niutitang Formation,Southern Shaanxi

为评估陕西南部ZB地区牛蹄塘组页岩储层勘探开发潜力,以SZY1井为例,明确了研究区牛蹄塘组页岩气储层的岩性与矿物学特征、含气性与地化特征、物性与岩石力学特征。研究认识为下一步该区水平井钻探开发明确了总体思路。

This paper aims to evaluate the exploration and production potential of the Niutitang Formation shale reservoir in the ZB area of southern Shaanxi in China.The lithologic and mineralogical characteristics,gas-bearing potential and geochemical characteristics,physical properties and rock mechanics characteristics of the Niutitang Formation shale gas reservoir in the study area have been defined using Well SZY1 as an example.The findings provide a clear direction for the next step of horizontal well drilling in this area.
