林则徐福州诗文及交游论略

On Lin Zexu’s Poem and Essay Creation and Friend-making in Fuzhou

林则徐遗留下来的文章,主要是大量的奏折、文录、信札、日记和译编等。他一生写过不少诗词散文,但都是业余所作。在林则徐宦海生涯的四十年中,曾六度返回故乡福州,留下了他与闽都文化的一段佳话,弥足珍贵;其怀念父母及致妻儿、亲人的文章、书信、诗作,表现了很高的文学修养,渗透着忧时悯民的情怀,折射出深沉的爱国激情;他与张师诚父子、陈寿琪、梁章钜、杨庆琛、李彦章、张际亮、林昌彝等师友的交游及其诗文,更增添了闽都文化乃至中华文化的丰富史料。

Lin Zexu’s legacy of writings are mainly a large number of memorials to the throne,literary records,letters,diaries and translations.He wrote many poems and essays in his spare time.In the forty years of his official career,he returned to his hometown Fuzhou six times,leaving behind much-told precious stories between him and the culture of Fuzhou.His articles,letters and poems in memory of his parents and to his wife,children and relatives show valuable literary accomplishment,with the concern about the country and compassion for the people,reflecting his deep patriotic passion.His friend-making with teachers and friends like Zhang Shicheng and his son,Chen Shouqi,Liang Zhangju,Yang Qingchen,Li Yanzhang,Zhang Jiliang,Lin Changyi as well as his poems and essays add rich historical materials to Fuzhou culture and Chinese culture.
