Eye health situation and protection strategies of health professionals during the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic

新型冠状病毒肺炎(以下简称新冠肺炎)防控期间,消毒剂及防护用具的使用在抗击疫情中发挥关键作用。一线医护人员因频繁接触此类用品,潜在的眼健康问题不容忽视,包括紫外线暴露引起的电光性眼炎,消毒剂使用不当引起的眼部化学损伤以及防护用具佩戴不规范、长期使用视频终端等引起的干眼,造成身心困扰。保护一线工作人员眼健康是抗击疫情的重要举措。本文就常见的眼健康问题进行总结,并提出针对性防护措施,旨在为新冠疫情期间一线医护人员职业卫生防护提供借鉴依据。

During the coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic,the use of disinfectants and protective equipment played a key role in fighting against the pandemic.Due to frequent contact,potential eye health problems of health professionals require multiple health concerns,including photokeratitis caused by ultraviolet exposure,ocular chemical damage caused by improper use of disinfectants,and dry eyes caused by irregular wearing of protective equipment as well as long-term use of video terminals,causing physical and mental distress.Protecting the eye health of health professionals is an important measure to fight the epidemic.This article summarizes common eye health problems and proposes targeted protective measures,aiming to provide a reference for occupational safety of health professionals during the COVID-19 epidemic.
