Effect of Violence Exposure on Aggressive Normal Beliefs:Moderated Mediation Model

目的:探讨社会赞许和焦虑在暴力暴露与攻击规范信念间的作用机制。方法:采用暴力环境接触问卷、攻击规范信念量表、状态焦虑量表和简版马洛-克罗恩社会赞许反应问卷,对河北省和河南省六所高校1407名大学生进行调查。结果:控制性别后,暴力暴露正向预测攻击规范信念;状态焦虑在暴力暴露与攻击规范信念间起部分中介作用;社会赞许调节了状态焦虑与攻击规范信念间的关系,以及状态焦虑的中介作用:社会赞许水平较高时,状态焦虑对攻击规范信念的正向预测作用较大,状态焦虑的中介作用较大。结论:状态焦虑部分中介了暴力暴露与攻击规范信念间的关系,而社会赞许对中介模型后半段起到了调节的作用。

Objective:The relationship between violence exposure and aggressive normative beliefs and the effect of social desirability and anxiety were explored.Methods:A total of 1407 college students from six universities in Hebei and Henan provinces completed Violence Exposure Questionnaire(VEQ),Normative Beliefs about Aggression Scale(NBAS),State Anxiety Inventory(SAI)and the short version of Marlowe-crowne Social Desirability Scale(MCSD).Results:The results showed that,after controlling for gender,violence exposure positively predicted aggressive normative beliefs;State anxiety partly mediated the relationship between violence exposure and aggressive normative beliefs;Social desirability moderated the relationship between state anxiety and aggressive normal beliefs,and moderated the mediating role of state anxiety;When the social desirably level was higher,the positive prediction effect of state anxiety on aggressive normative belief was larger,and also the mediating effect of state anxiety.Conclusion:State anxiety partially mediated the relationship between violence exposure and aggressive normative beliefs,and social desirability moderated the second half lath.
