Objective:To evaluate the correlation between fatty pancreas disease and pancreatic cancer in patients underwent endoscopic ultrasound(EUS)examination. Methods:The age, gender, results of EUS,pathological type and clinical biochemical indicators of patients who underwent EUS for pancreas from January 2019 to December 2021 were retrospectively collected and analyzed. Results:A total of 1070 patients were included in this study, including 93 cases of pancreatic cancer, accounting for 8.7%,and 229 cases of fatty pancreas disease, accounting for 21.4%.Univariate correlation analysis showed that age, gender, and fatty pancreas disease were significantly associated with pancreatic cancer.Total cholesterol and low-density lipoprotein were significantly associated with fatty pancreas disease in patients with pancreatic cancer.Logistics multivariate regression analysis showed that age, gender, and fatty pancreas disease were independent risk factors for pancreatic cancer. Conclusion:Fatty pancreas disease is significantly associated with pancreatic cancer and is an independent risk factor.
