韩愈治潮的思想史意义

Ideological Importance of Han Yu's Governance of Chaozhou

韩愈的治潮观念主要体现在三方面:经术上,韩愈坚守了先王之道与对君子固穷的信仰;政事上,韩愈推行了安民除害与尊孔兴学的善政;传承上,韩愈招揽弟子并且受祭于潮,成为一方宗师。韩愈作为潮州宋学的先驱,其治潮举措是宋学在潮州历史上的第一次实践。

Han Yu's governance of Chaozhou is mainly reflected in three aspects.In terms of academic study,Han Yu adhered to the ways of the previous emperors and his belief that a man of virtue would uphold his ideals even in frustrations.In terms of government affairs,Han Yu promoted good governance to pacify the people and to respect Confucius and promote education.In terms of inheritance,Han Yu recruited disciples and was worshiped in Chaozhou as a master of great learning and integrity.Han Yu's initiatives to govern Chaozhou as a pioneer of the Song studies was the first practice of Song studies in the history of Chaozhou.
