With the rapid development of information technology and the popularization of the internet,new media has become an indispensable part of our lives.Against the background of new media,visual communication design has also begun to develop in a digital and networked direction.This article explores the development and innovation of visual communication design in this context,starting from the background of the new media era.Specifically,it includes the impact of digitalization and networking on visual communication design,innovation in visual communication design in the new media environment,and the application of new technologies in visual communication design.The aim of this article is to explore the innovative path of visual communication design in the context of new media,in order to provide some inspiration and reference for designers'innovation in the new media environment.
