Automatic welding equipment is widely used in mechanical engineering and is the key to improving machine production capacity.This paper provides an overview of automatic welding equipment and shows the capabilities of dedicated welding machines and welding robots.On this basis,this paper also discusses the engineering applications of automatic welding equipment,including control system,welding energy,frame,software system,sensor system and other applications,and analyzes the application status and development trend.
