摘要
本文基于2007—2020年172个国家核心文化产品进口数据,以各国居民中学及高等教育入学率代表受教育广度与深度,对居民受教育水平与文化产品进口之间的关系进行了实证研究。研究结果表明:从广度来看,一国居民高等教育入学率越高,越能促进该国文化产品进口;从深度来看,高等教育入学率对文化产品进口的促进作用比中学入学率更为显著;中低收入国家文化产品进口与中学入学率显著正相关,而中高及高收入水平国家文化产品进口则与高等教育入学率正向联系更加紧密;书籍、报纸期刊、音像制品进口受当地居民教育深度与广度的影响逐步递增。
Based on the import data of core cultural products of 172 countries from 2007 to 2020,this paper investigated the relationship between residents’ education level and the import of cultural products by representing the education depth and breadth with the enrollment rate of secondary and tertiary education.In terms of education breadth,tertiary education enrollment rate of residents significantly promoted the import of cultural products;In terms of education depth,the tertiary education enrollment rate had a more significant role in promoting the import of cultural products than the middle school enrollment rate.Applying education level index as the reference variable of education depth,a similar conclusion was also obtained by using the threshold effect model for robustness test.Cultural product import and middle school enrollment rate were significantly positive correlation in low-income countries,while cultural product import had a significantly positive correlation with tertiary education enrollment rate in middle-income and high-income countries,and the import of books,newspapers,periodicals and audio-visual products was progressively affected by the depth and breadth of education of local residents.
