摘要
本文基于产品空间演化视角,理论推演和实证分析了外资进入与中国制造业产品升级的影响关系。研究发现:外资进入显著促进了中国制造业产品升级;外资进入促进制造业产品升级,具有正向的直接效应,同时通过产品密度传导产生正向的中介效应;外资进入速度倾向于正向调节直接效应而负向调节中介效应。进一步研究发现,外资进入对制造业产品升级路径具有双重影响,不仅有助于企业实现产品“得势”,还推动了现有优势产品“失势”。
Based on the perspective of product space evolution,this paper explored how foreign entry affected upgrading of Chinese manufacturing products from both theoretical and empirical analysis.The results show that foreign entry has indeed promoted product upgrading under a series of robustness tests,which can be divided into positive direct effect,and positive mediated effect through product density.At the same time,the speed of foreign entry has inclined to regulate the former positively and regulate the latter negatively.Further research shows that foreign entry has a dual impact on evolution path of Chinese manufacturing products,which not only promotes manufacturing firms to gain advantages that once did not have,but also causes the existing advantageous products to lose advantages.
